Help Mimi raise money

Hey Family and Friends!  I’m checking in with you all today for a very important reason. One of my dearest college friends and probably the strongest, funniest and most positive woman I’ve ever known, Sarah Manion, is in a hard fought battle with stage 4 Ovarian Cancer. 

Ovarian Cancer often goes undiagnosed until the later stages of its progression due to a lack of information for the warning signs and symptoms. Sarah battles her Cancer daily but is focused on spreading the word to other woman and informing them of the early warning signs of this deadly cancer. Be mindful of: 

-Bloating that is persistent 

-Eating less and feeling fuller

-Abdominal pain

-Trouble with urinating or bowel habits. 

Many woman when they learn of their diagnosis are in dire need of emotional support and/or financial assistance. COCA (Colorado Ovarian Cancer Alliance) provides all of this and more! Since Sarah’s diagnosis, over 2+ years ago, she has participated in Jodi’s race, an annual event that raises cancer awareness and money to fund COCA programs offering emotional and resource support as well as financial assistance to women in need.  

The money raised is such a gift to so many in need. I’m asking my family and friends to please consider making a donation of ANY amount to Jodi’s Race and to please share this link with others. The dollars add up quickly so spread the word!

The race is fast approaching on June 10th. Praying for the community to send financial support to these woman and Sarah, and to offer up prayers of strength for them all as they battle forward each and every day!
