Duxbury Playgrounds Project

DEPP (Duxbury Elementary Playgrounds Project) is a group of parents who have come together to raise the necessary financing to help our schools replace our weathered and worn out elementary playgrounds.  Working with innovative local builder O'Brien & Sons, the schools have designed engaging and inclusive new playgrounds for our children.  Our group seeks to raise the $1.3M in total financing needed by our schools through a combination of capital funds, community contributions, sponsorships, grants, private donations and PTA fundraising events. 

Hundreds of students utilize the playgrounds throughout the day plus many families visit them on the weekends.  After twenty years of exhaustive use, it is time to replace our structures with safer and more accessible equipment for students of all ages and abilities.  Focused on play, we are 'the Happiest Project in Town'!
