My Story…

I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma (Stage II) 10 years ago, in April 2013. Kelly was 38 weeks pregnant with Ian at the time. The next six months were a blur of doctor's appointments, chemo treatments, surgeries, pain, and eventually, remission. I will be running in the Hope in Motion 5K and family walk on Sunday, June 4th. Hope in Motion is presented by Minnesota Oncology to benefit the Angel Foundation, which provides support to local adults with cancer and their families. Owen will be running the 5K with me. The rest of the family will be walking. This will be my ninth year running the 5K. Participating in this event is my family's small way to help those now facing cancer, after we had countless people help us 10 years ago.
