My Story…
If you know me well, you will understand my love of dogs. We have been blessed to have 3 dogs over the past 20 years. We lost Cosmo in 2020 and Izzy in 2022, but were fortunate to foster Kianna/Kiki from West Suburban Humane Society in 2021. We quickly learned the poor dog needed not 1 but 2 hips replaced! After 1 year of going through many surgeries and getting her healthy again, it was no wonder that we decided to make her an official member of our family. It was because of this organization that Kiki is now able to live her best life which includes chasing after bunnies and squirrel's in the backyard. Please help me support this wonderful organization!
Description
The West Suburban Humane Society (WSHS) is a private, volunteer-based, animal welfare organization that was founded in 1972 and is 100% funded by individuals, our business partners and private grants. Since our inception we have found forever homes for more than 31,000 animals, and strive to be a community resource for all pet owners.
We want to save as many lives as we can but we need your help! Our adoption fee does not cover the testing, de-worming, vaccinations, spay/neutering and microchipping WSHS provides these pets, not to mention food, litter, pee pads and other supplies our animals need!
Just $25 will microchip 5 animals
$50 will feed all the animals in our shelter one meal
$100 will cover the cost to spay or neuter one animal
$250 will contribute to the medical care for one of our animals needing extra care
$500 will cover the cost of one animal in our shelter
