My Story…
After 34 years of teaching, I began the next chapter of my life with children and animals! I joined the WSHS team one year ago, and I am now an advocate for our dogs and cats.
I am so excited to be representing WSHS as our Humane Education Manager, and to fundraise as part of Barkapalooza, our largest fundraising event of the year!
Please help me make a difference for the hundreds of animals who will pass through our doors this year on their way to their forever home! 💕🐾🐾💕
Description
The West Suburban Humane Society (WSHS) is a private, volunteer-based, animal welfare organization that was founded in 1972 and is 100% funded by individuals, our business partners and private grants. Since our inception we have found forever homes for more than 31,000 animals, and strive to be a community resource for all pet owners.
We want to save as many lives as we can but we need your help! Our adoption fee does not cover the testing, de-worming, vaccinations, spay/neutering and microchipping WSHS provides these pets, not to mention food, litter, pee pads and other supplies our animals need!
Just $25 will microchip 5 animals
$50 will feed all the animals in our shelter one meal
$100 will cover the cost to spay or neuter one animal
$250 will contribute to the medical care for one of our animals needing extra care
$500 will cover the cost of one animal in our shelter
