My Story…
Planted on earth to bloom in heaven. On August 4th, 2019, I gave birth to our angel, Mila. Through support from family, friends and support groups, I have been able to move forward with Mila watching over. I've always been open and willing to share her story, as I hope that one day, it will be someone else's survival guide.
Why I'm doing the run:
While I was pregnant with Theo, one of my weekly nurses opened up to me about her losses, and that she honours them by doing the Butterfly Run in Vancouver. However, a dream of hers was to bring the Butterfly Run to Kelowna. A few months after Theo was born, I received a message that the run was officially happening, here in our home town. I am so proud of my nurse, Krystal (Chair) for working so hard to bring this important event to Kelowna.
Please join me, in the Inaugural Butterfly Run in Kelowna, on October 15. Any donations are greatly appreciated, and will go towards services that help with others going through pregnancy or infant loss.
