Help Stowe raise money

Tour de Turns was created to raise money for local hunger.   Loaves & Fishes / Friendship Trays (LF/FT) provides groceries, meals and hope through a network of emergency food pantries and as the primary Meals on Wheels program for Mecklenburg County.   LF/FT receives 100% of all money raised through Tour de Turns directly from sponsors, registrations and donations.  Tour de Turns does not have any paid staff.  It is 100% volunteer operated.

Almost 15% of all households in Mecklenburg County are considered food insecure. In 2022, Loaves & Fishes served over 106,000 neighbors in need (almost half were children and seniors), and Friendship Trays delivered over 133,000 meals. In June 2023, Loaves & Fishes provided a week's worth of meals to 10,850 individuals – one of the highest monthly figures in their 48-year history.  Tour de Turns has an ambitious fundraising goal this year of $125,000, which will make a huge impact in the Charlotte community to fight hunger.
