The inaugural Stouffville Main Street 5K, on Sunday June 18 will be an annual family run/walk event held to benefit the Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation. On this Father's Day, we look forward to welcoming competitive and recreational runners and walkers alike. Come as an individual, a family, a group of friends or an office team and join in the fun. For those who raise over $250 for Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation we will be doing prize draws so be sure to reach out to your friends and family to help support your fundraising efforts.
Runners who sign up before June 1 will all take home a medal and t-shirt. Medals and t-shirts will be available while quantities last following this date. The first 500 adult registrants will receive a complimentary swag bag.

RACE TIMING
This is an official chip-timed event. All registered participants will receive an official finish time upon crossing the Finish Line. Please check back on the Results page post-race.
PARKING
Free parking will be available at Thicketwood Park and at the Whitchurch-Stouffville Leisure Centre. Please be sure to enter the Thicketwood Park lot from its south entrance via Thicketwood Dr. and Booth Dr. as Park Drive will be closed. The Leisure Centre will only be accessible from Hoover Park Dr.
COVID MITIGATION and HEALTH PRACTICES
At this time, event planning for the run is following all Health Ontario guidelines regarding outdoor gatherings. There are currently no restrictions put in place by Health Canada or Health Ontario. Should that change in the days leading up to race day, race organizers will be following all public health guidelines and will inform participants by e-mail beforehand.
RUNNER PACKET PICK-UP
Advanced runner packet pick-up of the runner number bib, the T-shirt and other materials will be available at the Stouffville Leisure Centre (2 Park Drive) on the following dates and times:
Thursday, June 15
Location: Stouffville Leisure Centre Lobby
Time: 6pm-8pm
Friday, June 16
Location: Stouffville Leisure Centre Lobby
Time: 12pm-6pm
Saturday, June 17
Location: Stouffville Leisure Centre Parking Lot (inside Stouffville Get Active event)
Time: 9:30am-1pm
RACE MORNING ONSITE REGISTRATION
There will be NO walk-in onsite registration. All registration must be done online before June 14th at 12:00 PM noon. All who intend to participate must pre-register to run.
HYDRATION ONSITE
Water will be available at the Runners Village before and after the run, and there will be one Hydration Station on course at the 2K mark and on the return at ~3.8K mark where runners can grab a cup of water during the run or have their hydration bottle filled.
WASHROOM FACILITIES
Washroom facilities are available at Memorial Park, Parks Yard (adjacent to Memorial Park) and outdoor public restrooms at Latcham Hall. A number of sanitized portable toilet units will also be available at the Aid Stations on course.
BAGGAGE CHECK
We regret that there will be NO Baggage Check available at this event. If you are bringing personal belongings to the event site, please ask a friend or family member to be responsible for them during your run.
EVENT MEDICAL
Runner safety is of utmost priority, thus we have taken very effort to mitigate all foreseeable health risks from participating in the event. Odyssey Event Medical will also have a medical station at the Runners Village with trauma-equipped mobile medics on the course.
REFUND/TRANSFER POLICY
After having registered, if you are unable to participate in the event for whatever unforeseeable reason, there will unfortunately be no refund. However, your registration fee can be transferred to a donation to the Markham-Stouffville Hospital Foundation, and a tax receipt will be issued in your name. Deferments will also not be facilitated.
Registration Transfers: Transfers will be possible to another individual. Please e-mail us to indicate you wish to transfer your bib to another person. The receiving person's profile information must be received to process the transfer. A small processing fee will be charged.
