The 2nd annual Stouffville Main Street 5K and 1K Kids Dash, to benefit the Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation, will be in the morning of Sunday June 16, 2024. This Father's Day, we look forward to welcoming competitive and recreational runners and walkers alike. Come as an individual, a family, a group of friends or an office team and join in the fun.
Runners, Walkers, and Strollers allowed. Please no bicycles, rollerblades or scooters. Dogs are welcome in the runner's village only, however please keep them on the leash.
EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION NOW OPEN!
Runners who sign up before May 30 will all take home a medal and t-shirt. Medals and t-shirts will be available while quantities last following this date.
Register early to have your FIRST NAME printed on your official number bib.
FUNDRAISING
While fundraising is not mandatory, it is certainly encouraged and the suggested fundraising minimum is $100 per adult and $50 per child. While your registration fee for the event helps to cover the various event costs from road closures to post-race nourishment and logistics staff, any fundraising dollars go directly to the Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation. Donations over $20 will receive a charitable tax receipt from the Foundation. Raise over $250 as an individual and your name will be entered into a prize draw.

RACE TIMING
This is an official chip-timed event. All registered participants will receive an official finish time upon crossing the Finish Line. Please check back on the Results page post-race.
PARKING
Free parking will be available at the Thicketwood Parking Lot. Please be sure to enter the Thicketwood Park lot from its south entrance via Booth Dr. as Park Drive will be closed.
COVID MITIGATION and HEALTH PRACTICES
At this time, event planning for the run is following all Health Ontario guidelines regarding outdoor gatherings. There are currently no restrictions put in place by Health Canada or Health Ontario. Should that change in the days leading up to race day, race organizers will be following all public health guidelines and will inform participants by e-mail beforehand.
RACE KIT PICK UP
Race Kit Pick Up for the runner number bib, T-shirt and other materials will be available at the Latcham Hall Community Centre located at 8 Park Drive on the following dates and times:
Thursday June 13, from 3pm-8pm
Saturday June 15, from 10am-2pm
RACE MORNING ONSITE REGISTRATION
There will be NO walk-in onsite registration. All registration must be done online before June 13th. All who intend to participate must pre-register to run.
WASHROOM FACILITIES
Washroom facilities are available at Memorial Park (South-West corner), and on the South side of Latcham Hall. Sanitized portable toilet units will also be available at the Aid Stations on course.
BAGGAGE CHECK
We regret that there will be NO Baggage Check available at this event. If you are bringing personal belongings to the event site, please ask a friend or family member to be responsible for them during your run.
REFUND/TRANSFER POLICY
After having registered, if you are unable to participate in the event for whatever unforeseeable reason, there will unfortunately be no refund. However, your registration fee can be transferred to a donation to the Markham-Stouffville Hospital Foundation, and a tax receipt will be issued in your name. Deferments will also not be facilitated.
Registration Transfers: Transfers will be possible to another individual. Please e-mail us to indicate you wish to transfer your bib to another person. The receiving person's profile information must be received to process the transfer. A small processing fee will be charged.
