About Our Charity

We promote a culture of acceptance, understanding, and empowerment  in the lives of individual and families with autism in the black and brown community.

Children of color have historically been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder later in life. On March 23, 2023, according to CDD for the first time, autism is being diagnosed more frequently in Black and Hispanic children than in white kids in the U.S. We believe this switch happen because of the advocacy work that is being done in the black and brown communities.

BAC provide resources, advocacy and workshops for parents. We meet every parent with a child on the spectrum at their level. We do a Facebook live in Haitian creole creole providing parents with all the tools needed in their native language. We are exited to be part of the 5k to bring awareness about autism and breaking the stigma associated with autism spectrum disorder in the black and brown community. With your contribution we will be able to provide more resources to parents, create more activities and build a stronger community.

Feel free to check us out on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Twitter. Together we can make difference in the lives of the individuals with autism.
