My Story…
Becoming a parent is a transformative process, I don't care who you are, it breaks you wide open. Since having Lo there's been this rumbling to support local families & mamas who might not have the same support, finances, or health that we are privileged with. YANA is my charity of choice: YOU ARE NOT ALONE. Raising a child truly takes a village, it takes courage to ask for help, & YANA continues to ensure that families in the Comox Valley are not alone when dealing with medical issues for their children or pregnant mothers. If you've got $5 for a hot latte this week my wish this week is you forego the coffee and donate to YANA, to our community, to parents who need extra loving, to kids who need extra prayers. Let's raise the vibration with everything happening in the world & do something good this week. If it's not YANA, pick your thing, maybe just buy the person's coffee behind you in the drive-thru, just spread that good juju cause kindness breeds kindness & the world needs more of that right now. ✨

Every dollar raised in the community goes to help provide financial support and accommodation to Comox Valley families who need to travel to access medical care for a child or pregnant mother.
$50 = 1 night stay at a YANA apartment in Vancouver near BC Children’s Hospital
$100 = 4 night stay at Jeneece Place, Victoria
$200 = YANA envelope of cash for family’s emergency hospital transfer
$500 = 3 nights Nanaimo hotel accommodation
$1000 = B&B for Denman & Hornby expecting mothers
$1350 = 1 month medical travel expense funding
