My Story…
YANA hits close to home for my family. We were one of the families that YANA supported as Jack was 6 weeks pre-mature. Without any hesitation we were given an envelope full of cash and were provided with my accommodations and food while I stayed in Nanaimo for the 2 weeks we were in the hospital.
We are forever grateful for this amazing charity and we hope you have it in your hearts to donate to help another family like ours.
Description
Every dollar raised in the community goes to help provide financial support and accommodation to Comox Valley families who need to travel to access medical care for a child or pregnant mother.
$50 = 1 night stay at a YANA apartment in Vancouver near BC Children’s Hospital
$100 = 4 night stay at Jeneece Place, Victoria
$200 = YANA envelope of cash for family’s emergency hospital transfer
$500 = 3 nights Nanaimo hotel accommodation
$1000 = B&B for Denman & Hornby expecting mothers
$1350 = 1 month medical travel expense funding
