My Story…
I can't make this year's Yana but I wanted to have my input. I just finished 50km in the heat wave and I thought about Yana and the amazing things they do for kids and their families the whole time. Riding 50km in the heat isn't heard. Battling cancer and health concerns as a kid is hard.
Description
Every dollar raised in the community goes to help provide financial support and accommodation to Comox Valley families who need to travel to access medical care for a child or pregnant mother.
$50 = 1 night stay at a YANA apartment in Vancouver near BC Children’s Hospital
$100 = 4 night stay at Jeneece Place, Victoria
$200 = YANA envelope of cash for family’s emergency hospital transfer
$500 = 3 nights Nanaimo hotel accommodation
$1000 = B&B for Denman & Hornby expecting mothers
$1350 = 1 month medical travel expense funding
