Our story…
Milo was born at 30 weeks weighing just over 2 lbs. Charlotte was airlifted to the Royal Columbian Hospital where Milo was born and stayed for 3 weeks once big enough Milo was transferred to Nanaimo NICU.
YANA supported our family during this time and we would love your support to help another family out in their time of need.
Our team will be riding the distance from Courtenay to the Royal Columbian Hospital and back home again (422 km)
Description
Every dollar raised in the community goes to help provide financial support and accommodation to Comox Valley families who need to travel to access medical care for a child or pregnant mother.
$50 = 1 night stay at a YANA apartment in Vancouver near BC Children’s Hospital
$100 = 4 night stay at Jeneece Place, Victoria
$200 = YANA envelope of cash for family’s emergency hospital transfer
$500 = 3 nights Nanaimo hotel accommodation
$1000 = B&B for Denman & Hornby expecting mothers
$1350 = 1 month medical travel expense funding
