The Cleo T. Hudson, Jr. Memorial Foundation

The Cleo T. Hudson, Jr. Memorial Foundation was founded to develop and provide scholarships, ongoing mentorship, and transformational community involvement/relationships in the world that we live in.

The purpose of the Cleo T. Hudson, Jr. Memorial Foundation, Inc. is to remember the life and continue the legacy of an upstanding and loving husband and father as family and friends remember what his life represented.

When the world loss Cleo, Heaven gained an angel. Our expectations include being a blessing to others as we receive healing during this process.

Our foundation encompasses three components; scholarship, mentorship and community involvement. Annually, the foundation will award scholarships to young men from Shelby County Schools, and Brown Missionary Baptist Church, where Cleo attended worship service. The scholarship recipients will matriculate through an eight month mentorship program. Additionally, when we recognize a need within the community that we are capable of meeting, we will develop a plan and execute the plan of action to give back to the community.
