NC4K Reindeer Run 5K Presented by Chick-fil-A Columbus
The 2023 NC4K Reindeer Run 5K presented by Chick-fil-A Columbus is back at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium! Get ready to walk, run, or jog alongside your favorite animals, see the spectacular Wildlights display along the course, admire the NC4K Hero mile, and raise funds to support our pediatric cancer community!
In addition to the 5K, we will once again have our Chick-fil-A Kids' Fun Run as well as the 1-Mile Family Walk. These options are perfect for those who want to support the cause in a less competitive environment.
After the race, participants are welcome to spend the rest of their morning enjoying the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium and having fun at our Reindeer Party!

To register as a sponsor, visit the link below and click the button that says "Register." Please fill out attendee information fields with contact information for your organization's point of contact. After registering, you will receive a promo code that guests can use to claim your included race registrations.
The Reindeer Run 5K race route start line begins at the main entrance of the Zoo. 5K participants begin the first portion of the race in the parking lot area, leading up to the Heart of Africa Event Center, and then back in through the main gates of the Zoo. Runners will get to experience the Zoo Lights and other enjoyable features during their route. The Race route is planned with the support of the Animal Care Team at the Zoo to ensure the safety and well being of the animals along the route.
FAQ's:
RACE DAY PACKET PICK-UP: Beginning at 8:00 in front of the zoo's main entry. Participants who registered as current zoo members will be asked to show proof of membership at the entry gate. Non-members will be issued a ticket at the bell stop.
Note: Family and friends are required to register in advance or purchase a Spectator Ticket ($15) at the bell stop the day of the event.
The Kids Fun Run begins at 8:30 am so we highly suggest that you arrive early to get race packets and not get stuck in line. Zoo members should bring their membership cards.
NON-RACER ENTRY DISCOUNT: If you bring friends and family that are not running or walking in the race, they can purchase discount tickets on race day for just $15. Zoo members are still required to purchase Spectator Admission. This is a private event prior to the Zoo General Admission Hours. All in attendance must be registered as a Reindeer Run 5K guest.
PARKING: Parking for racers will be FREE.
WATER STATION: There will be one water station on the course.
STROLLERS: Strollers are allowed on the race course, we just ask that you line up near the end for your safety and the safety of other participants.
POST RACE FOOD/DRINK: After you cross the finish line, Chick-fil-A is providing post-race snacks so you may replenish and refresh before spending a great day at the Zoo!
POST RACE ZOO EXPERIENCE: All guests are welcome to stay and visit the Zoo for the day. Guests may get a hand stamp prior to leaving to return back for the Zoo Lights that evening.
