My Story…
My dad, George Dreith, died needlessly from mesothelioma just over 8 years ago, two months after walking me down the aisle. While his diagnosis was devastating, it also made my dad become an advocate for mesothelioma awareness, which he was very proud of. He was able to travel to D.C. to advocate against the FACT Act that would make it harder for families like ours to seek justice, he got his first letter to the editor published in his local newspaper, and participated in the Miles for Meso Run & Walk. All of this was made possible because his law firm, Simmons Hanly Conroy, who is hosting the Miles for Meso event for the 15th time this year.
Please make a small or large donation to support what has become our family's annual tradition, walking in my dad's memory, with Georgie Porgie's Meso Patrol. Your contribution, of course, goes directly to supporting mesothelioma awareness, but also to supporting a law firm that literally changed our lives, and so many others, for the better. I don't know what we would have done without their knowledge and support for a disease most people only know about through weird radio or television commercials. It really is one of the most fun events that I attend all year, even though we would rather have him alive and well with us. Your love and support mean the world to me.
Thank you, truly.
Alison
