My Story…
I am proud to once again be leading Sacramento Country Day's efforts to raise urgently needed money and resources for the sadly ever-increasing number of our local citizens and families that are in need. Each year, the Country Day community comes together to support Sacramento Food Bank and Family Services through our Run to Feed the Hungry Team and I know this year we will once again deliver!
On Thanksgiving morning Team Sacramento County Day will participate in the annual Run to Feed the Hungry for the 17th time. Over the past 16 years, Country Day has raised well over a $150,000 and has been the Top Fundraising Team many of those years! Our goal this year is to once again be a top fundraiser and help those in need in our community through our collective resources and school spirit.
Students, parents, grandparents, friends and employees are all encouraged to join our team or donate to a team member. Every dollar raised helps in the fight against hunger in our local community. It doesn't need to be much - every small donation is vastly impactful.
