Help Tania raise money

The House, as its affectionately known keeps families with a seriously ill child together and close to the care they need and our Family Rooms of which there are 7 in five regional hospitals provide family members with a place to rest and recharge in the hospital, just steps away from where their sick child is being treated. 

The House accommodates 81 families and is located in downtown Toronto, just minutes from SickKids and Mt. Sinai Hospital and provides over 20 programs and services including a fully accredited school and food programming to help provide comfort and joy for families. We provide a home away from home for families that have to travel long distances and/or stay an extended amount of time so that their child can receive specialized care.

I’ve had the opportunity to witness the meaningful work that this organization provides daily, see the smiles on many children’s faces and leave daily knowing we have helped families in our small way at a time where they most need it.

I have reached out to my family, and many are joining David and I as we embark on this inaugural Red Shoe Shuffle. We’re asking our family and friends to show their support of us and the incredible work of RMHC Toronto by donating. 

The funds raised from this event will help to ensure we can provide services and programs to families when they need us and that the cost to families remains low – helping to ease the financial burden of being away from home.
