Help Ollie raise money

For participating in Jesse McLean 5K Run/Walk

My Story…

In 2019 when he was seven, Ollie  was diagnosed with Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma (ALCL) ALK Positive at CHEO. After two rounds of chemotherapy, he suddenly relapsed in his central nervous system (CNS), going blind. After getting back into remission with more aggressive chemo, he relapsed weeks later just before his stem cell transplant was about to begin. Thanks to genetic sequencing, a targeted cancer inhibitor drug was identified and obtained through compassionate grounds. This combined with thirteen sessions of brain and spine radiation got him back into remission on on to a half match transplant with his sister's cells in July 2020.

Ollie is now 11 years old and has been a powerful martial artist with Kids Kicking Cancer Canada Ottawa since just after transplant in October 2020. He is currently an orange belt and is determined to one day become a Sensei himself.
