Our story…
I had a stroke at the age of 32 in the brain stem. I had an AVM. Alterious Venus Malformation in the brain stem. Something I had since birth. It burst in my brain stem. They had to drain the blood out of my brain. The doctors told my parents I was going to die. They put a shunt in my brain. And I woke up 23 months later. Only 1% survive what happened to me. I was that 1%. When I was in a comma, one doctor told my mom to stop feeding me. Thank God my mom didn't listen. Project Walk has helped me recover greatly, and hopefully I will be walking again.
