Run Through the Orchard

A day of festivities with the goal of raising money for Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare and their Regional Children's Centre.

Mental health directly or indirectly affects all Canadians in their lifetime. The Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) survey indicates that in Ontario, 1 in 4 people (24 percent) have sought help for their mental health challenges, and a staggering 70% of mental health challenges have their onset in childhood or youth. At a time in one's life when life should be fun, full of hope and wonder, 1 in 5 children and youth in Ontario are challenged with mental health.

Being a child in today's world is far different and far more challenging than years before. Many children must navigate hardships and burdens in a fast-paced, technology-driven world. Children need supportive environments, such as the Regional Children's Centre.

Fury Training Grounds will host a 5k fundraiser through Kranicz Fruit Orchards and Windmill Ridge Acres, a family-run business, on Saturday, September 23, 2023.

Please use this registration for the 5k fun run portion of the event.

This will be an event for everyone - regardless if you are a runner or not. On top of a 5k through a beautiful fruit orchard, this will be a day full of activities, such as;

-Vendors

-Raffles

-Cocktail Bar

-Fresh produce and goods from local business Kranicz Fruit Orchards and Windmill Ridge Acres

-Face Painting and Bouncy Castles

Included in your registration kit is a T-shirt, beer glass, and a specially-made beer, made in house by Windmill Ridge Acres. Register quick, as registration packages are only guaranteed for pre-registered participants.

NOTE

- This run is for all ages, but please note, since this is through an orchard some ground can be uneven and not ideal for stroller running.

- Anyone under the age of 18 must have their legal guardian sign the waiver ahead of time, and bring it with them, if their guardian will not be in attendance.
