My Story…
Hi all!
Let’s work together to raise money for this great cause in North Texas!
I have been training hard to complete this race for the C.A.L.F program.
This is my first 1/2 marathon and I’m super pumped to be running for a cause in this longer distance event.
My goal is to reach $1000 in donations for this great program keeping our youth active!
C.A.L.F. Program overview:
Through our school grant program, we identify low-income children and fit them properly with a new pair of running shoes, as well as provide grants to make entry fees more affordable. We then give those children tips and training to make running a 5K race a reality.
In the past 13 years, we have awarded over 50,000 financial grants and pairs of running shoes.
Our Kids 5K was named “The Top Kids’ Running Program in The Nation” in 2011 and 2020 by Running USA.
