My Story…
Here we go again! I'm once again raising funds for Crohn's and Colitis Canada while I train for and run my 5th Half Marathon! Crohn's and Colitis Canada is incredibly close to my heart because not only do I work for the cause, but have lived with colitis for the past 15 years. I'm incredibly lucky to be healthy enough to do this sport that I love and do this to support all my fellow IBD and autoimmune warriors who are working hard everyday to be healthy. Even with all the missed and interrupted training runs, difficult nutrition, and energy drain, I will be there proudly on May 26th showing up for my IBD family.
Please help me reach my goal of raising money for this awesome cause that funds research into the causes of these diseases, and is working hard towards finding a cure. We have hope that one day there will be a cure for Crohn's disease and colitis!

Crohn’s and Colitis Canada is the only national, volunteer-based charity focused on finding the cures for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis and improving the lives of children and adults affected by these diseases. We are one of the top two health charity funders of Crohn’s and colitis research in the world, investing over $130 million in research since 1974, leading to important breakthroughs in genetics, gut microbes, inflammation and cell repair as well as laying the groundwork for new and better treatments. We are transforming the lives of people affected by Crohn’s and colitis (the two main forms of inflammatory bowel disease) through research, patient programs, advocacy, and awareness.
