This year, on May 26th, marks my third 10Km race. Inspired by Shamel El Sayed who is a dedicated advocate for Spinal Cord Injury Alberta (SCI-AB) since 2014. 

For Shamel, the marathon is a symbol of pushing limits and staying positive. His message is clear: "What do you do after you go through a spinal cord injury (SCI) or other physical disability in Alberta? You turn to the SCI AB. Find hope. Connect. Start rebuilding together to achieve independence."
