My Story…
On May 24, 2024, at the opening day of the Servus Calgary Marathon Runners' Expo at Stampede Park, I will attempt to break the world record for a human being to be packed in ice.
As a certified coach, extreme athlete and motivational speaker, I am undertaking this mission to raise awareness and support for my 12-year-old daughter Kira and the millions of other people around the world with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
With the help of friends, colleagues and supporters around the world, I have been on a year-long training program to prepare for breaking Guinness World Records' record for 'longest duration full body contact with ice (male).' The current record is 4 hours and 2 minutes.
For me, setting the ice bath world record is another way to use my talent and training as a coach to help people, and to show that anything is possible with the right mindset – including knowing your limitations and not taking unnecessary risks.
It is about living up to my motto: Chase Your Worthy Cause!
All donations from here will go towards Autism Canada.
