Help Laurie raise money

I am so excited (and grateful) to be running the Pittsburgh Half-Marathon to raise money for Pittsburgh-based Young Adult Survivors United (YASU).

For those not familiar with YASU, this local organization caters to the needs of those with a cancer diagnosis in the early years of adulthood. For patients like this, who get a diagnosis in the prime of their life, the emotional impact of cancer may look very different than older cancer patients as they wonder if a diagnosis like this will prevent them from doing things the rest of us take for granted - finish college, embark on a career, find a mate, or have children.

Unfortunately, I have known, and still know, many individuals with cancer in this age range.   At least 2 of my dear friends have personally benefited from the organization's offerings and I've seen first hand the positive impact it has on the lives of patients and survivors.  

Please help me or one of the many other YASU runners raise money for this fantastic organization.
