My Story…
Dear Friends and Family,
I've finally decided to take the plunge and sign up for my FIRST MARATHON! To me, it only made sense that I complete my first marathon in Pittsburgh, the place I grew up and the place where I completed my first official race and my first half marathon. I'm excited to be able to run through my favorite city and experience the Yinzer love as I run through each neighborhood.
Per usual, the training and the completion of a race just aren't enough and I have decided to raise money and run on behalf of a charity. The charity I've chosen to raise funds for is the Mario Lemieux Foundation! The Mario Lemieux Foundation is dedicated to funding cancer research, patient care initiatives, and supporting families in challenging medical situations (and more!). I hope you will consider donating to support their cause :)
