Hi everyone!
Thanks for visiting my race page :) I am raising money for The Homeless Children’s Education Fund, a local Pittsburgh non-profit established in 1999 to support the educational needs of children experiencing homelessness in Allegheny County. I just graduated from the University of Pittsburgh and this will be my first ever half-marathon!! As I wrap up my time in Pittsburgh, I wanted to give back to the community that fostered my educational growth.
I’m so grateful for your support and looking forward to helping meet the educational needs of children in the Pittsburgh area... and also running 13 miles!!
Description
Donate to help raise money for Homeless Children's Education Fund (HCEF) during Marathon Weekend. Your donation helps students break the cycle of homelessness through educational achievement. HCEF provides programming for students in kindergarten to age 24. Programming includes afterschool, tutoring support, social and emotional regulation, college and career prep, as well as enrichment, emergency funding and educational grants.
