My Story…
My physical health has always been a huge battle, and I tend to always lose focus and consistency. This 5k is going to be a challenging but doable goal to work towards and I am very excited to put my health forward for not only myself but for my family too. I'm so excited to be partaking in something I've always been interested in joining and who knows! Maybe next year, I will attempt the marathon!
Additionally, I hope you will stand with me in supporting the Homeless Children's Education Fund of Pittsburgh to help the local children be given an equal opportunity to succeed in life. We as a community have to fight for the youth!
Description
Donate to help raise money for Homeless Children's Education Fund (HCEF) during Marathon Weekend. Your donation helps students break the cycle of homelessness through educational achievement. HCEF provides programming for students in kindergarten to age 24. Programming includes afterschool, tutoring support, social and emotional regulation, college and career prep, as well as enrichment, emergency funding and educational grants.
