My Story…
Hi friends! This year I will be running for Light of Life. I love to see people’s lives transformed with God’s love and I feel very passionately that Light of Life does an incredible job with providing for immediate needs for those who are homeless in Pittsburgh. Many thanks to those who are able to support in any way. I know that many lives will be benefited from the love and support they will receive and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me support their mission.
Description
Since 1952, Light of Life Rescue Mission, a non-profit 501(C)(3) organization, continues to transform lives for women, children, men, and families experiencing homelessness, poverty and addiction. Light of Life is the place where hope and healing meet. We are igniting transformation through truth-based programming with our continuum of care and the love of Christ. Our goal is to restore those in need to healthy members of our community.
Last year, the impact we made together included:
- 500,000+ meals provided through our kitchen & food pantry
- 3,000 unique guests served through our emergency shelter
- 558 chapel services
- 22 Program graduates & completions
- 300,000 items distributed through our donations center
