My Story…
For every half marathon I participate in, I take about 24,000 steps/strides to complete the 13.1 miles. The start and finish lines are just a few blocks away from each other, so I basically finish where I started. Even though it is very taxing on my mind and body, and some would say I haven't gone anywhere - just around in a big circle, running this race is one small step I will continue to take to help the people of rural Haiti and spread some human kindness.
