Why I support The Pittsburgh Project
I decided to go big this year and run the half marathon to raise money for The Pittsburgh Project! This organization works in the North Side to impact the community through a series of youth programs with the mission to grow future leaders by sharing hope, empowering youth, and building community.
Since my sister (Karen Matarazzo) convinced me to run, I am competing against her to raise more money! We didn’t want to physically race each other, so instead we are fund-racing!
Help me take home the glory and raise more than her! And more importantly use this opportunity to give to such an impactful organization!
Description
The Pittsburgh Project strives to care for people by sharing hope, empowering youth and building community. We have served the residents of the Northside for the past 38 years. We offer innovative educational opportunities for children and youth K-12 grades, through summer camps and after school programs. We assist community residents through partnerships with the URA and local church groups. Thank you for partnering with us to "Run for a Reason"!
