My Story…
After seeing many people I know from Urban Impact running in the Pittsburgh races last year, I felt inspired to join them this year. Once I decided I was going to, I asked my dad if he would run with me and he said yes! We are both really exited to be running the half marathon together this year and to be supporting Urban Impact at the same time.
Urban Impact has been a huge part of my life for countless years. I’ve been involved in the program since elementary and I am now a freshman in high school. I’ve participated in UIF’s performing art’s ballet, praise dance, hip hop and choir. Over the summer last year I worked for Urban Impacts summer day camp as high school staff and hope to do that again this year! Because UIF has played a big part in my life, I’m so happy to be running this half for the incredible program this year.
