There is nothing better than waking up on a sunny Saturday morning to the sound of "Play Ball!"   Our field is a place where dreams come true and athletes from all over western PA can come and put on a uniform to knock one out of the park!  Please take the time to wander around our website and or on You Tube for some amazing videos!

Every year we have amazing volunteers who run the Pittsburgh Marathon.  This year I am lucky enough to be on the relay team running with Jackson.  I have no doubt Jackson will be pushing us as he is going the distance!! 

Please consider making a donation to this incredible community.  If you can't, please sign up to volunteer or just stop by the field on a Saturday in the Spring or Fall!  It is amazing!!

Here is a note from Jackson's mom!  What a ride we are all on!!!!

My son, Jackson, was born with Down Syndrome.  From the day he was born, he has brought joy to all who have met him.  He has a curious nature, a kind spirit, and a contagious smile. 

Jackson recently found a love for going fast.  His autistic behaviors and physical abilities limit some of those opportunities.  So Team Jackson will give Jackson an opportunity to participate in the 2024 Pittsburgh Marathon.

In a world where people are quick to tell you "you can't...," we want him to know that HE CAN.  He can experience some of life's simplest joys - he can meet new people, he can connect with a crowd, and he can raise money for deserving charities all while feeling the wind in his hair.

Please consider supporting our mission.  Our beneficiaries will be the Miracle League of the South Hills and Always Be Smiling.  We hold both charities close to our hearts as Jackson has participated in their events and has been able to create meaningful relationships with peers.

If you choose to join us that day either as a runner or a supporter, look for Jackson in the jogging stroller - he'll be the one winning your heart!
