My Story…
I will be running my first ever 5K, and wanted to help raise money for the Homeless Children Education Fund. For my job, I work directly with Pittsburgh’s homeless population to help them find and maintain affordable housing. This charity does great work with underprivileged youth, who may not have the same starting point as the rest of us. Any help will be greatly appreciated, and will go a long way. Donate to help raise money for Homeless Children's Education Fund (HCEF) during Marathon Weekend. Your donation helps students break the cycle of homelessness through educational achievement. HCEF provides programming for students in kindergarten to age 24. Programming includes afterschool, tutoring support, social and emotional regulation, college and career prep, as well as enrichment, emergency funding and educational grants.
