My Story…
I found it really uplifting to walk the Half Marathon last year in support of Open Hand Ministries. Not only was it heartening to know that I was walking to "earn" the donations that had been directed my way to cheer me on in this endeavor and to provide needed funds to OHM, but it was also heartening to walk through our Pittsburgh neighborhoods and feel the excitement and encouragement from the community at large. I am so very much looking forward to walking again this year! Please donate generously — both for personal encouragement and to help Open Hand Ministries continue their work in providing affordable housing opportunities for families in the East End of Pittsburgh.
