Help Jon raise money

For participating in 2024 DICK'S Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon Weekend

My Story…

I will be running my first Pittsburgh half marathon this May in honor and remembrance of my Dad, Tom Henderson, and to raise funds and awareness for Alzheimer's care, support, and research.

An estimated 6.9 million Americans and millions more are faced with the financial and emotional challenges of caring for a loved one with the disease. If current trends continue, Alzheimer’s will bankrupt families, communities and our healthcare system.

The Alzheimer’s Association®, the leading voluntary organization in Alzheimer research, care and support, is dedicated to finding prevention methods, treatments and an eventual cure for the disease. And locally, the Association helps provide consultations, information and referral services, and support programs to our community.

My Dad passed away from Alzheimer's in 2019. He was a dedicated family man, retired Army Lieutenant Colonel, and Math teacher. These miles are for him.

With your support, I have a goal of raising $500 for the Alzheimer’s Association prior to the Pittsburgh Marathon on May 5, 2024. Would you please consider making a donation?
