My Story…
I am so excited to be running the UPMC Health Plan Pittsburgh Half Marathon this year in support of the Homeless Children’s Education Fund! This incredible nonprofit organization has been supporting the educational needs of children experiencing homelessness in Allegheny County for 25 years!
As an educator, I share HCEF’s belief that quality education is a civil right, and is something that all people, especially children, deserve access to.
Your donation will help HCEF support over 3,000 children who are currently experiencing homelessness in Allegheny County. Education is the most powerful and effective way “to break the cycle of generational homelessness”.
Thank you so much for supporting our youth! ♥️
