This is my first time participating in the Pittsburgh Marathon and this 5K event is open to hand cyclers like me for the first time. I look forward to networking with the many athletes of Pittsburgh in this amazing event!

PS...I am a co-organize of a Rush to Crush Cancer biking team called "Hand Cycle Crusher" which benefits the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center. There are three cycling events, 15 miles, 30 and 60 miles which are all through the streets of Pittsburgh.

If you want to join our team follow these instructions:

Team registration instructions (riders and survivor walk):

1) Go to the Rush to Crush Cancer website (www.rushtocrushcancer.org)

2) Click ‘Register Now’ which appears across the header of the page towards the right 

3) Click ‘View Teams’ along the left side of the page 

4) Find ‘Hand Cycle Crushers’ and click ‘Join Team’ which appears underneath of the team’s name in blue

5) Go through the prompted registration process
