Exploring the outdoors has been in my blood from a young age.
18months ago I was inspired by women with their packs on running in the mountains and at that point I decided I would become one of them. I commenced training and since then have been working my way into longer distances...challenging my body & mind to go further into the wild exploring the beauty that is mother nature, and it has certainly not gone without it's challenges.
The chance to participate in this 45km trail race on the trails of the great ocean road was an amazing opportunity bringing my love of trail running and looking after nature together.
If you have any spare change you are willing to put towards the Conservation Ecology Centre who do fabulous work to conserve this precious part of nature in Victoria I would be so grateful. Future generations should be able to enjoy the diversity of mother nature as we are.

The Great Ocean Walk winds its way along the most stunning part of Victoria’s coastline. For almost 25 years, the Conservation Ecology Centre (CEC) has been working hard to protect these landscapes. Our research and conservation programs ensure the needs and threats of the wildlife found here are understood and managed.
Without this, the threatening processes facing our wildlife and landscapes can overwhelm them. The CEC are leading the way on delivering a collaborative and cohesive conservation strategy in the region, engaging all stakeholders from universities and Traditional Owners to public and private land managers.
By fundraising for the Conservation Ecology Centre, you can enjoy the visual splendour of the Great Ocean Walk knowing you are directly supporting vital conservation work to protect this landscape’s wildlife and their homes.
