In April 2022, I had the privilege of joining the staff of Champaign County CASA as the Director of Development.  It has been both humbling and heartbreaking to further understand the sober reality of child abuse and neglect, and its consequences on children, families, and our community.  Yet, as I have grown to know the impact of Champaign County CASA, I am more certain than ever that the trauma of child abuse doesn't have to define the children that it affects. Rather, there is hope and a new trajectory available for these children, whom we respectfully refer to as, "Our Kids."  When we sacrificially support Champaign County CASA with our time or our financial resources, we provide stability, consistency, trust, advocacy, and ultimately, permanency - the building blocks for a new life path.  

I Run for Our CASA Kids because I believe that every child that has experienced abuse and neglect deserves the opportunity to thrive in a safe and permanent home.  I am blessed to have a small part in helping that belief become reality for Our Kids.  Thank you for your support!
