My Story…

For the past 3 years I’ve been running short distances (5km) for leisure. Then one day, I decided to go one more km, then the next day, another km…and so on. I soon realized I had pretty good endurance. That same year, I was turning 45 and woke up one day determined to complete the 2024 BMO full marathon…my first race of any kind! I set a goal and am working hard to accomplish it. It’s amazing what you are capable of with consistent training and dedication. You can do anything at any age! It’s icing on the cake to help raise money for my YMCA!
