Help Elliott raise money

Hello everyone!

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! Last year, I ran my first ever marathon. Afterwards, I was supremely confident that that was my last marathon. But I guess I’m a bit of a masochist because I just signed up for it (the BMO Vancouver Marathon) again.

I wish I had some sort of inspirational story as to why I decided to run it again. But the truth is that my Dad had run a marathon back in the day and finished with a better time than I did. So, like any good son, I decided to dust off my runners and vowed to beat his time/completely humiliate him.

This past year has probably been the most difficult year of my life. I have gone through some pretty significant transitions both professionally and personally.  But as I’ve had time to reflect on all the amazing people, opportunities, and experiences that I've been graced with, it’s become quite clear just how fortunate and privileged I truly am. As a result of this realization, I’ve decided to start this fundraising page for Canuck Place Children’s Hospice. This organization offers palliative care for children with complex, serious, and often terminal illnesses. They address the physical, psychological, and spiritual needs of both the children and their families. Your donations will go towards essential medical and nursing care, as well as education, music, art, recreation therapy, counseling, and more.

So, if you’ve read up to this point, please consider donating to this incredible organization. They do amazing work, and your generosity would go towards helping them provide essential care that these kids need and deserve.

And if that wasn't enough to convince you to donate, just know that your donations will be powerful motivators for me in my goal to humiliate my Dad.
