My Story…
Hey everyone! I have signed up for my third official marathon, and this time I am running to raise money for cancer research through the BC Cancer Foundation. In June of 2023 I found out that my dad has a brain cancer. Although it has been a tough road, our family has been impressed with the quality of care from cancer centers in Ontario and Alberta. It is very important to me that all people in Canada have access to the best possible care when faced with the tough realities of living with and battling cancer.
My last marathon in Delta BC raised over $1,200 for Ronald McDonald House to assist families with medical travel accommodations in Vancouver while at BC Childrens Hospital. There I ran my personal best marathon with a time of 3:31:30.
This time, my goal is to run under 3:20:00! Please consider supporting this cause by making a donation to BC Cancer Foundation, it would mean so much to me!
