I am running again to honour the energy, spirit and hope of my best friend, taken from us all, too soon. 

Brigitte and I began running Ottawa Race Weekend in 2007, and now I carry her with me each year. Running brought her peace and joy and I would not be as healthy as I am without her tremendous belief and influence. 

I have become close to many in the lung cancer support community, have made and lost more friends, but with increased awareness and funding there is hope for the future. Whatever I can raise for Lung Cancer Canada brings Hope to countless people.
