Research for 'Women's Health' to support those born with a uterus and ovaries who have unique medical conditions and heath needs, is often over-looked and is under-funded. I am a proud physician member of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Ottawa, The Ottawa Hospital, and co-lead for the Resident Research Program. The high quality research projects within our department improve care outcomes, the quality of care and the care experience within Obstetrics and Gynecology - the funds raised through this event will go a long way to help support further research projects and improve how we can spread the word about the results of these studies.
