Dear friends, I have pledged to support Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF). MSF is an independent emergency medical humanitarian organization that has more than 40,000 staff members working in humanitarian crises in close to 70 countries. Right now, MSF medical teams are saving lives all over the world. MSF would not be able to make such a difference in the lives of people caught in crises without the generosity of individual donors. More than 95 per cent of MSF’s funding comes from private donations, rather than from governments or large institutions. This gives MSF the independence to act decisively and to go wherever the needs are greatest, without additional political pressure or interference. I have decided to support MSF, and it would mean so much to me if you would consider supporting my fundraising goal. Each donation counts. Together, we can help alleviate suffering and change lives. Your generosity allows MSF teams to continue saving lives by delivering urgent care to people made vulnerable by disaster, conflict, disease or exclusion from healthcare. Thank you for your support!
