Cancer has greatly impacted our family again this year. In November our father/papere, Gerry Givogue was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer and survived until February. Each cancer journey is unique and his shockingly progressed harshly and quickly. We want to dedicate this years TEAM ROB to him and as always in honour of Rob (Gerry's beloved son-in-law) and to all the families who have lost cherished members and to those who are facing cancer.

Rob Gough was an incredible person - a loving husband, father, a beloved son and brother, and a friend to many. In 2013 when his cancer returned, TEAM ROB was created to bring together family and friends to celebrate the amazing care he received at The Ottawa Hospital and the research that was helping to extend his life.
 
The Ottawa Hospital gave us an amazing gift - 5 extra years with Rob. We got invaluable time that we had to be together as a family that we will forever cherish, because of this excellent care and research.
 
Rob contributed to cancer research by participating in 5 clinical trials and being the inspiration behind Team Rob - he never gave up hope that cancer could be cured and our Team won't either. 

This is our 12th year fundraising for cancer research. 

We are committed to doing our part to honour Rob and his legacy to fight cancer.
