We are fundraising for the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Corey Schryburt, who tragically lost his battle with cancer in 2017.

Corey was a loving father, husband, son, brother, friend, and more. An easy going and loveable guy, he connected with people and quickly made friends everywhere he went. It wasn’t unusual for Corey to connect with a group of mostly strangers at a social event and quickly be “one of the gang” in a matter of minutes. One of the many reasons he connected with people so easily was his ability to help others and show empathy. He would step up and help anyone who needed it if he could. 

Now it’s our turn to step up and help others. We’ve raised over $26,000 for the Canadian Cancer Society, and in our 7th annual fundraising effort we continue to support the CCS’ critical work. Our funds raised have a direct impact on research and patient care, meaning we can help others in Corey’s position today and in the future.
