Our Story

1985: Inception

The Chinese Culture Connection (CCC) was founded in Reading, Massachusetts, with a primary objective of developing Chinese cultural curricula for educational institutions, libraries, museums, and community centers across Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island.

1999: A Move to Malden

In this landmark year, we relocated to Malden at the invitation of former Mayor Richard C. Howard to support the growing Asian population there and to build connections between Asian residents and the diverse Malden community and its surrounding cities.

2024: Keeping Our Mission Alive

Today, we proudly curate a diverse array of over 100 events annually, reaching out to over 10,000 individuals spanning various backgrounds and age groups. We remain committed to:

• Empowering Chinese immigrants and Chinese descendants in the Greater Boston Area to appreciate and retain their heritage and develop bi-cultural fluency, and
• Enriching others with a deeper understanding of Chinese language and culture.
